Tea Time: A Feel-Good Gathering
UrbanPromise Trenton invites you to our Tea Time event on May 30, 2026, from 11AM to 2PM in the Fellowship Hall of Central Church. For $40, your attendance helps celebrate the growth and achievements of our young people, including graduating high school seniors and rising freshmen.
We will also take time to honor outstanding volunteers whose dedication strengthens our programs and supports our mission throughout the year.
This gathering highlights the transformation made possible through community generosity. As you enjoy tea and a light meal, you’ll hear stories of resilience, hope, and opportunity from the youth whose lives are shaped by your partnership.

UPT Explores: College, Career & Trade Fair
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2nd Annual UPT Explores: College, Career & Trade Fair!
On Friday, April 10, 2026, UrbanPromise Trenton brought students, families, colleges, and community partners together for an afternoon of exploration, learning, and inspiration. From 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm at the Trinity Cathedral Parking Lot, attendees explored interactive workshops, heard from current college students, connected with universities and local organizations, enjoyed music and food, and won prizes.
With sessions on financial aid, identity, and comparing college pathways, plus tabling, trivia, and treats, this event was designed to equip juniors and seniors with real-world insight and next-step confidence.
UrbanPromise Trenton: To the Moon

Our Sneaker Ball is designed to attract a diverse mix of party-goers passionate about the work of UrbanPromise Trenton. In true gala fashion, we had the opportunity to reconnect with each other, meet our StreetLeaders, and enjoy an amazing evening!
There was dancing, a live and silent auction, and opportunities to learn more about UrbanPromise Trenton throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone who attended and/or supported this event. We raised over $65,000 thanks to your generosity. We hope you can join us at next year’s event on 10/10/26.

2025 Paddle for Promise

Circumnavigation of Petty’s Island
UrbanPromise Trenton joined UrbanPromise organizations from Camden and Millville for the 2025 Paddle for Promise. The organizations used 10-person voyager canoes to circumnavigate Petty’s Island in the Delaware River on September 20, 2025. Each of the 10 paddlers from UrbanPromise Trenton raised support from their friends and family to support the TrentonTrekkers program.
We believe that through the TrentonTrekkers program, we have a unique opportunity to offer youth from Trenton a different perspective on the world around them. Through travel to places beyond students’ everyday lives and a focus on cross-cultural experiences, historical perspectives, environmental awareness, and community service, students are motivated to learn from their TrentonTrekker journeys and carry that motivation into their studies.

Virtual SummerCamp Fundraiser
SummerCamp offers kids in grades 1-8 the chance to have FUN all day with the help of dedicated interns, staff, and community groups.
Students go on several trips to places like the Trenton Circus Squad and Funzilla and enjoy themed days, including an end-of-camp field day.
Over 100 children participate in the summer, and it costs over $130,000 to plan and run six weeks of programming and employ 20 Trenton teens.
Our Virtual Fundraiser will begin in June 2026. You don’t need to go anywhere or do anything to make a difference for kids in Trenton!
